ARTICLE XI - AMENDMENTS
Amendments may be proposed by any member of the Councilor any affiliated councilor group. Upon the approval of the Board of Directors, such proposed amendments must be sent to the membership at least four weeks prior to the annual meeting. Such proposed amendment becomes part of the Constitution when passed by two-thirds (2/3) of the members present and voting. However, upon the vote of twenty-five percent of those present at the business meeting, such amendments will be submitted to the general membership by mail ballot. They will become a part of the Constitution when approved by two- thirds of the members responding within a period of time prescribed by the Executive Committee.
